38 & 39 weeks.

Doing the 38th and 39th week update just in case I cant do it at the end of 39.
My 38th week was a bit different than 37.  Braxton hick contractions were gone. I was feeling pretty energetic and in a good mood! Felt like I could take over the world! Baby moved a lot. I actually had one good night sleep! Actually it was great! It felt like I slept for ages, I was comfortable all night, didn't have to wake up to use the bathroom. It was just incredible. I was so happy.
I can't wait to fall asleep on my belly, I really miss that. On my Dr's appointment they did the NST test, it was a little off so they had to do it again, I had to lay on my side. After that they checked and everything was great! I got my cervix checked and found out I was 3cm dilated. That made me extremely happy, and a bit worried because Justin was out of state. After my appointment I got some contractions but they didn't last enough for me to go into L&D. This Friday I will have another appointment and hopefully I get to go stay in the hospital. I just want Jared to be born hahha.
Today 11/15/16 we started week 39! So we have 7 days hopefully less to meet baby Jared!

Today started really crazy I woke up at 4:30 am to use the bathroom and I went back to bed and started to get some really uncomfortable back pain. I wasn't even able to go back to sleep, so I got up and started to swing my hips side to side and it helped a little but pain was still there, I thought they were contractions so I started timing them (good thing I did). after two minutes the pain would go away, I stepped outside to the living room because I didn't want to wake up Justin. I was out there for most of the hour that I had that pain, it was constant pain, it was horrible! I had to call my Dr because sitting or standing was not getting rid of them. I called at 6:30 am and told him exactly what I was feeling, he called me back around 8:00 and informed me that I was having back labor and that I had to go to the hospital, he also told me that back labor was not the same as contractions. By the time he had called me back the pain had stopped. Baby was moving during and after the pain. Doctor said if I got that pain again to go to hospital right away. The pain did come back but wasn't as bad as it was in the morning. I'm hoping that after the walk I take today everything progress!

38th week belly.

Hopefully baby is born this week! We all want to meet him already. I'm starting to get supper anxious!

So my mom made this little hat, booties and mittens for Jared. I love them so much! She is definitely the best! I added the ribbon just because I think they look even more cute with it on.

Baby Haul Numero Dos!

Its so hard not to go to the store and go directly to the baby section! That is exactly what Justin and I have been doing. A few nights ago we went to Tangers Outlet just because I wanted to window shop and do some walking to help baby come out early. We went into Carters and bought a few outfits for him, we have also been buying him Christmas outfits that say "My first Christmas"

On Monday night we went to Babies R us and got him a cute Christmas outfit.

Another thing that has been purchased is his bath tub, that was a gift from my dad! He has been wanting to buy him his bath tub for the longest but it took me a while to pick from 4Moms and Summer Infant. Decided to go with Summer Infant because a lot of reviews for the 4Moms were bad, either they just didn't like it or the thermometer it comes with stopped working. At the end I went with Summer Infant Lil' Luxuries Whirlpool, Bubbling spa, and Shower.  All his new outfit are 0-3 months and they were all picked out by his dad :D
Justin is just so excited for Jared! I tell him he can't spoil him too much, and he always tells me that yes he can haha. I guess it's not so bad when its your first baby special when your first is a BOY.
I can't wait for December so he can wear all his Christmas outfits!
We need 13 more days to meet Jared, unless he wants to come before! (fingers crossed) of course anytime after Saturday will be great, because Justin is out of state working.

37 weeks. Full term.

Tomorrow 11/08/16 we will be entering 38 weeks, I thought doing the week update at the end of the week would be better. We need 2 more weeks, 15 days to meet our Jared. I feel like time is just going by super slow now! Like the pregnancy it self went by fast but this past month has gone by so slow. I've had people tell me that I don't even look like I have two weeks left, or that he might not be born on his due date but who knows!? This Friday we have another appointment hopefully they can give me good news! Justin will be out of town (sad face) but I'll have my other support system with me aka my mother. There is this thing with mothers you know? that no one can ever replace! My dad always tell me " I never thought I would get to see the day were you would be pregnant" and he gets a little emotional but who wouldn't with their only daughter!? My mom always tells me "being a mother changes you, and a mother will protect and defend her kids no matter from what or from who" I believe it because that's the type of mother she was with me!

Symptoms: I am extremely glad that my feet did not get swollen! You guys don't understand how scared I was to have my feet looking like tamales. I know that might not be as a big deal to some, but seen my mother feet swollen with my brother , I was prepared for the worse. I honestly thought that was something that came with pregnancy no matter what. Like there was nothing to avoid that, but it is true what they say every pregnancy is DIFFERENT. My body is aching constantly so I take warm showers and that helps, it is the only thing that helps me get thru it. My stretch marks have stopped, I do have them in my stomach and got a few on my arms but that is about it. I did't get any on my legs or breast. I've been using the cocoa butter because my belly gets really itchy.
Anytime I get up from sitting down or laying down I get pain in my pelvic area. I'm getting Braxton hicks contraction. Sometimes I get really bad hot flashes, I can be sitting or laying down and I'll just start to sweat randomly. There are days were I wake up super tired!

About Jared: According to Babybump he is 19.25 in and weights around 6.3 lbs, I have an app called what to expect and that lets me know what is new with baby every week and this week Jared is head down I think he went head down at 35 weeks, baby is still moving a lot and sucking his thumb to practice his nursing skills. Sometimes I poke where ever I feel him and I do it three times and he moves three time I don't know how he does that but he does the first time I tried that I was super shocked! I talk to him and read him this book that has been passed down to me from my mom that was passed down to Larry from my cousin, it has all the Disney stories. Its called Disney's Family Storybook Collection, he really seems to like it. Whenever I go to a place where there is a lot of noise he moves like crazy, I tell Justin and my mom that he is a chismoso haha.
I have a playlist on Pandora under La Orega de Van Gogh that has a lot of old songs from Mana, Shakira, and more and every time I play that he moves, so I'm guessing he likes them? Jared has been getting the hiccups a lot! I feel bad for him, I myself don't like getting them, so I can't imagine  how he feels getting them four times or more a day. He also started to do this thing where it feels like he is jumping, I call the Drs office and they told me that it's More than likely that he is sneezing. So now every time I feel him doing that I say "bless you baby" just in case haha.

Dr appointment: We went to the Drs on Saturday they checked my blood pressure like always and after that they did the NST, NST is the no stress test is just a way to check  on baby's heartbeat. They do that for about 20 minutes. After that we got to see baby, we saw that he was facing up so we got to see his chin, eyes and we got see that he is a BOY! Than they checked my cervix nurse actually felt baby's head and said I opened up just a little, but that my cervix was still high. I don't know exactly what that means.

Two years ago Justin and I got married for all time and eternity, it doesn't even feel like it has been two years, I guess time flies when you're having fun.

I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I woke up early to get ready I didn't even eat, on my way to the temple I was calling Justin to check if he was taking something we needed and he didn't answer. I got worried not because he wouldn't show up but cause maybe he got a flat or something, Never did it occur to me that he would back down on that day. Once we got to the temple and I saw him I yelled at him for not answering, and the rest is in our heart as a beautiful memory.

The first time I ever saw Justin was on a picture, it was his mission picture, I saw it and ran and told my mom about it because I thought Justin was super cute! I was around 15 years old maybe younger when I saw it. After that I remember our bishop told us if we could all keep the Chancellor family in our prayers because their son who was serving a mission had gotten sick! I knew who he was talking about because the Chancellors made our food for girls camp later I found out that the Chancellors son was that cute missionary I was crushing on, so I prayed for him just a couple of times because after a while I stopped I don't know why. Now I now he came home for a while and decided to finish his mission. After he was done I saw him again at girls camp it was my 4th year, I remember I was going to the Ramada to get some apples with peanut butter and I saw a guy laying in one of the beds and of course the door was open and I was staring, I remember he got up and closed the door right on my face hahahah. After that I never really saw him again till I was 17 going on 18 and that was at institute, right when I walked in he was the only face I saw, he looked so familiar but couldn't quite place my finger on it, so I ignored it but I knew he was cute! We never really talked at institute I would see him at the YSA dance but never really made a big deal about it cause he was five years older than me so I was whatever about it. Than on march 1st 2013 I got invited to the movies by one of his friends, it was Justin his two friend and I, I think we went to see a scary movie, and after that I have no idea how he got my number and called me to tell me about his break up with this girl and it was a Sunday night, a night before I started my new job it was almost midnight and he was still talking hahha. Anyway after that he text me asking me if I wanted to go out to the movies with him again this time just the two of us, I said yes because why not! I took my brother with me and he paid for my brother and I, I was a little surprised because last time we went to the movies he didn't pay for the girl he was with. That became our thing we would go to movies on Friday and Saturday we did that for about eight months until he finally asked me on an official date! He took me ice skating, to the cheese cake factory and later to the movies and we saw How to Be Cops. On valentines he invited me over to his parents and he had this table all set up with candles and everything, water some glass wine cups and the plates it was all so cute! He made me some mac and cheese that later I found out was actually made by his mom, but it was good! I was so nervous to be there. He got my present and it was a Hello Kitty towel, a card, and a box of Dove Chocolate. I got him the Red Sox mascot as a pillow pet and a caramel apple little did I know he couldn't eat it because he had braces. It was honestly the best Valentine I ever had in my life. On February 23 2014 he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes, he said I LOVE YOU first about 2 weeks later, it was so cute! I didn't say it because who knows why. We were together every weekend and when we weren't we would Skype, than on June 28 2014 he proposed I was crying and laughing at the same time I was just so happy! We got married on November 1st 2014. I knew from the very first time I said yes to  going to the movies that I wasn't going to be dating anyone else ever again, and that scared me!

Now two years later we are expecting a baby! I couldn't ask for a better husband!  He is more than whatever wanted.
