36 Weeks

We are now at 36 weeks, everything is completely different or at least to me it feels completely different. Jared has been moving a lot and I enjoy it! He has started a thing where he does a solo party and moves all night, which prevents me from falling asleep but I eventually fall asleep. I pee every hour at night, it's so frustrating and to make it better he moves where my bladder is so I either have to get up or pee my pants. The hard thing about that is getting out of bed. I've been getting Braxton hicks contractions which feel like menstrual cramps and that's always fun. I'm getting pain in my pelvic area and a lot of pain in my round ligament. I know I'm going to miss feeling him move inside of me. I still can't believe I'm pregnant and I'm 36 weeks haha I just feel extremely lucky to have a tiny human growing inside of me! I don't even want to share him with anyone but my husband, I want to spend as much as time as I can with him before returning to work. Some people that have no clue about anything tell me that I'll want to just hand him over to anyone so I could get a break, but I don't see myself doing that at all, and I believe I know myself a lot better than these people. I honestly do not appreciate that at all.

We had an appointment on Saturday, they checked on baby and made sure he was happy inside just because there is a tiny problem with the cord, Dr said there is nothing to worry about and I believe him, another thing they checked was if I've dilated or not, and we are still close. I haven't dilated at all. I would like him to come at least a week early or later just because I want him to have his own birthday.

How big is baby: According to BabyBump Jared is 18.73 in and his weight should be 5.75
He should be gaining about half a lb every week. He has dropped and it is really noticeable.

Justin and I have our hospital bag ready, he is taking an extra pair of clothes, some comfortable shoes, some toiletries and of course his tablet and phone. For me I packed a pair of old Pjs, some socks, underwear, breastfeeding bra, toiletries and make up just cause why not hahah  I probably won't have time to do my make up but if I can why not, its not a vain thing it's just because I CAN! I have my birth plan all written down but of course it might not go as I want, but I'm just hoping it will.

Birth Plan: I will not be able to handle the contractions so YES I want the Epidural as soon as I start getting really bad contractions. I want Justin and my mom with me at all times no one else! Unless I need a C-section. Only people in the delivery room will be Justin and my mom, and of course the Dr. I really want to do skin to skin as soon as baby is born. I don't want Jared to get formula or sugar water at all! I am planning on breast feeding and only breastfeeding. I don't plan on ever doing formula. I think that is pretty much what I wrote down I don't remember it all since it is already in the hospital bag.

For Jared's hospital bag I packed 3 little outfits plus a home coming out fit, diapers. wipes. blanket a swaddle, burp cloth, socks, mitten, beanie, and much more that I can't think of right now.

We have Jared's stroller its a Chicco Urban Stroller and care seat from Chicco it's the KeyFit30 , we finally bought a changing table pad and cover. We also got his dresser as a gift from my dads boss. Two weeks ago we bought a SwaddleMe for by your side sleeper I want to try it at least once, if not I can always use it for when we go over to someones house. My mom bough a thing that goes on the side of the changing table for diapers, wipes etc, I don't know what it's called.

Baby Shower Haul

Baby shower was a hit! I am very thankful to everyone who went, and to the ones that couldn't but still sent their regard/presents!
We got clothes form 0-12 months, a lot of diapers and wipes, blankets, bathing stuff, gift cards etc.
I wanted to do a video of all the stuff we got, but I got a little lazy and decided to just take pictures, after a while taking pictures got exhausting haha, I guess being 34 weeks pregnant makes everything very exhausting. I tried to get everything. I'm sure there are a few stuff missing.
I don't remember 100% who they are from, Justin made his list and has it with him, I remember just a few.
Didn't get pictures of diapers and wipes, because we all know what those look like hahah.
So excited to dress him up with such cute clothes!

From his tia Jessi. These outfits are going to be his first outfits, they are all so cute!

The Basket with his name and fox beanie are from his tia Jessi.
There are some socks, bibs, shower cloths, and mittens so he doesn't scratch his face.

Can't wait to wrap him in all the cute little blankets we got!

Baby Shower. Woodland Friends.

I decide to do my own baby shower. Ever since I planned our wedding, I fell in love with party planning! I even decided to plan an entire baby shower for my cousin Jessi! After that I couldn't wait to get pregnant to do my own shower. I love everything that goes into planning a special event from the guest list to invitations. Of course I can't do it all on my own so I had my mother, Justin's mom, aunts, and of course my Hubby help me with stuff. We went with a theme, I wanted something for a boy that wasn't the typical blue or sports theme. I did get my ideas of course from pinterest . I made a board dedicated to the baby shower. I went with the theme of Woodland Friends. After I chose the theme Justin and I went to Babies R us and Target to register. I also did a registry on Etsy. Once we got out registry done I started looking for invitations, I honestly did not want to pay $200 + for invitations, so what I did was make my own. I looked for some to maybe get an idea of what I wanted. Once I found it I started designing the invitation, but of course something always goes wrong. After I had my invitations all ready to print, we found out the places where the baby shower was taking place did not get reserved. So I had to make brand new invitations with another date. That was probably the most stressful part of the baby shower! I cried my eyes out, I was going to just cancel everything! My husband came to my rescue he fixed everything, reserved the place and everything was good for the baby shower. I don't know what I would've done if Justin didn't fix that problem.
After all the invitations were done I waited four weeks to print them out. Just because I didn't want the same thing happening. We finally passed them out to our family and friends, some were mailed. I did some DIYS for baby shower, like our center pieces, and some decorations.
We got a lot of help from family! I'm so thankful for our families!
The cupcakes were made by Nina Ticha, and of course they were delicious!
In the back you can see one of the center pieces my mom and I made.

We used Jared's crib to put presents in.

We made a geofilter for snapchat, decided to make a sign so our guest could use it.

What our geofilter looked like.

That was for our guest book that wasn't placed till later.

How we set up tables by we I means my parents, hubby, and brother.
